tomcom is a company specialized in the development of customized internet business solutions, such as eLearning platforms for large institutions and universities. We are a small but experienced team, located in Lindau at the Lake Constance in southern Germany, directly at the foothills of the Alps. Current projects are focussed at the development of complex community and database applications to deliver high-end knowledge management solutions with a strong integration of collaborative and communicative features. Through their open-source platforms, they are integrated in an international developer network. tomcom contribute to the smectra.net project their skills and experiences in new media consulting and technology as well as platform development, maintenance and operation. tomcom disseminate the project results in Germany and Switzerland.
