Target Groups

Three groups of users will profit from the results:

1. training managers in SMEs,
2. training counsellors and providers who can combine learning content and processes to offer SME-compatible eLearning, and
3. learners in SMEs.

The project´s primary target groups are training managers, trainers and learners in European SMEs. The smectra.net consultants who develop the training management tools for the specific use of eLearning in SMEs cooperate with national SMEs in implementing, evaluating and further developing these tools. SMEs are selected as evaluating partners who serve as professional frontrunners in their industry and region. Thus, SMEs are not limited to one branch of industry but are selected according to national or regional significance. The range of SMEs with their specific requirements guarantees that the methods and tools can be easily transferred across industries and cultures.

In this way, this project supports to a high extent the competence building process between different business cultures as well as between new and old member states of the EU.
